Getting started

  1. Install the LinkLetter extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click the LinkLetter icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the side panel.
  3. Sign in with your email — we'll send you a one-time code to enter. No password to remember.
  4. Open any article you want to read.
  5. Right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Add page to LinkLetter."
  6. The article appears in your queue, gets typeset automatically, and is ready to preview or download as a PDF.

That's it — build up a queue of articles and read them the way they deserve, off-screen.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add an article?

Right-click anywhere on the article and choose "Add page to LinkLetter" from the menu. The side panel will open and your article will appear in the queue.

Why do I use the right-click menu instead of a button?

The right-click menu is what lets LinkLetter read only the page you choose, only when you ask. The extension never reads pages in the background — it looks at a page solely at the moment you select "Add page to LinkLetter" on it.

Do I need to sign in?

Yes. Signing in (with a one-time email code) lets us save your queue and your typeset PDFs so they're there when you come back.
